What is one month in the many years that (hopefull What is one month in the many years that (hopefully) lie ahead of us? But a drop in the ocean. 

And yet, there is significance to firsts, to beginnings and “how we started”s. So here are some thoughts fresh on the back of the first month of this new season.
Took a spontaneous escape to Bangkok with the 6yo, Took a spontaneous escape to Bangkok with the 6yo, marking the start of our homeschool journey together, the impending welcoming of a new baby to the family, celebrating his graduation from kindergarten, and simply spending lots of uninterrupted time together. 

I was surprised by how easy it was to travel with him alone, and how much his growing independence is revealing more of who he is becoming. We enjoyed slow walks, yummy food, and lots of rest.
