About

atthechias at the void deck

hello! i’m audrey

i’m glad you’re here

Pull up a chair, have a seat! Our table is always open to anyone in need of hot coffee and conversation.

I’m Audrey, a mom of two, living in a HDB flat in sunny Singapore. Like many of my peers, I spend my days juggling my multiple roles of wife, mother, daughter, employee and friend. All while trying to push back against the fast pace of the world, slowing down to savour life’s everyday moments. I seek beauty in the mundane, uncovering truth and goodness through the grace God has lavished upon us.

Over here, I hope to share inspiring thoughts and ideas to spur you onward toward the good life, so that you may experience the fullness of abundant life that Christ has so lovingly gifted us.

I also host an online community, The Ordinary Matters, to connect likeminded women who desire inspiration and encouragement in their ordinary lives.

May you enjoy the time you spend here, and may it inspire you onward and upward in your off-screen life!

Closing out the fourth month of the year - transit Closing out the fourth month of the year - transiting into a season of transition for our family. Leaning into the familiar, while embracing small new things. Further up and further in!

Do you prefer the comfort of the familiar, or are you game to embrace the new?

Cost: $0, minimal effort, lots of time

Pursuing wealth that is found in having space to breathe without hurry is costly. But perhaps it’s a cost worth bearing.
Life at home. 2025 vs 2022. Life at home. 2025 vs 2022.
Some would think that having kids means embracing Some would think that having kids means embracing chaos and losing your life as you know it, which, is probably true to an extent. But having kids opened my eyes to a whole new (better) way of life, and helped me to see the beauty that has always been around me so much more clearly.

Through the eyes of my children, I’ve grown to slow down and to love Singapore a little more.
